Battle Alley Fingering

Battle Alley is our heathered gray Blank Canvas base. Named after a street in our hometown of Holly, Michigan, where radical prohibitionist Carry Nation smashed up saloons (and their patrons!) with her umbrella in 1908, it adds a sobering hue to any project. It is spun as a bouncy 2-ply fingering weight with excellent stitch definition. It is sister to our Oakland Targhee base, but with 15% brown-gray wool added to give it depth and texture. This base is only sold nekkid (undyed!).
