Battle Alley DK
Battle Alley DK
Description: Battle Alley is our heathered gray Blank Canvas base. Named after a street in our hometown of Holly, Michigan, where radical prohibitionist Carry Nation smashed up saloons (and their patrons!) with her umbrella in 1908, it adds a sobering hue to any project. It is spun as a round and squishy 3-ply DK and has excellent stitch definition. It is sister to our Oakland Targhee base, but with 15% brown-gray wool added to give it depth and texture. Great for cardigans, vests, mittens, and hats. Hardier folks will find it comfortable for scarves and pullovers, but the sensitive among us will prefer it for second layers or less sensitive skin. This yarn is only available nekkid (undyed!).
